The Door of Perception

Last night i actually got mad at my bedroom door because it made too much of a cliche door noise. Squeeeeeak...just like a door in a cartoon or in the movies. And i thought, "Oh come on, that's exactly the sound everyone expects a door to make. Let's be a bit more realistic." My critical instincts may need to be curbed a bit.
