I've Got Your Increasingly Permeable Membrane Right Here
A review of The Comas' Conductor (a.k.a. a great example of why I can't stand reading Pitchfork reviews). "I don't posit that the increasing permeability of the membrane between indie and mainstream is an insidious development; instead, it should be acknowledged in the interest of foiling nonsensical Puritanism." Read the whole thing for plenty more groan-inducing grad-student-speak. 'Tis a review that makes me want to hate any music that the author likes.8/31/2005 |
